Good News from the Doctors
Today I got some wonderful news! I do not need to get radiation! Your prayers were heard!
Today, the radiation oncologist said the spot on my sternum was so tiny and so low in intensity that he was not convinced by this scan that the cancer had returned. He advised waiting until after the next scan to see if anything had changed. This is what living with metastatic breast cancer means: relaxing for a few months and hoping that the next scan shows no cancer has returned.
I am so very grateful for my outstanding medical team and for the love, prayers, and support everyone has sent my way. It means more to me than words could ever express.
