Unpredictability of Metastatic Breast Cancer
Today I’m back at the hospital for my Xgeva shot and for routine bloodwork.
While October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, breast cancer patients especially metastatic breast cancer patients are living and dealing with the up and downs of this horrible disease for days, months and years. The disease is unpredictable we may be feeling things are working and staying stable when in fact it could be growing and spreading. A friend of mine had emergency surgery last week because of a mass growing on her spine. She was feeling good and enjoying life then this news hit.
Remember when you are told to buy pink, walk for a cure, wear pink you do your research. Make sure it is supporting an organization that is trying to make a difference in the community and not paying for someone’s salary. Wear, buy and walk pink to make a difference not just to do everything in pink. #breastcancerawareness #breastcancer#metastaticbreastcancer #baldballerina
