Scan Results

Good News! My oncologist just called to say this scan was not substantially different from the previous scan. There is a new tiny spot on the L1 vertebra but it appears to be healing. No radiation is needed at this time. Hooray!!! Thank you so much for your prayers and messages of encouragement and hope. They mean a lot to me. I am so very grateful to have you by my side, helping me get through difficult and stressful moments. I appreciate very much your likes, shares, and comments. Together we can spread the word that even young, fit, healthy ballerinas like me can get incurable metastatic breast cancer. Early detection helps, but cannot guarantee a cure for this awful disease which kills 108 Americans every day.
