BCRF Research Symposium and Luncheon

When I was diagnosed in 2014 the way breast cancer was treated was different. Over the past 9.5 years, countless drugs have been approved, and the way doctors are treating all stages of breast cancer is different.

@thepinkagenda which is a sister organization of @bcrfcure has been part of my cancer journey from the very beginning. During the pandemic I worked with both TPA and BCRF to help patients get through it. Then I was invited to join TPA’s board 2 years ago. Since joining I have been inspired to advocate and raise money for the important research that is needed.

Yesterday, BCRF invited me to be their guest for the Symposium and Luncheon. Hearing directly from the researchers and how hopeful they are with new diagnostic tools and treatments was encouraging. It was also my very first time meeting some of my other board members in person which was so exciting.

I can’t wait to get my brain moving and think of various ways to educate and fundraise

Thank you to all the researchers your hard work is was is keeping me alive.
