Youth America Grand Prix Pittsburgh Regionals

Yesterday was one for the books. It was the first time I was on the teacher side of competition. Erika danced beautifully and I am so proud of her. We worked several months to perfect her variation and her contemporary solo. Erika has won in my eyes because she was focused, worked hard every single rehearsal, has the passion and love for dance needed to be successful, and she performed the best she could. I can’t wait to continue working with Erika and see her grow as a dancer and young lady.
